3.28 (목) "예수님의 침묵" (마가복음 15:1-15)
“Jesus’ Silence” (Mark 15:1-15)

찬143장

1. 로마의 총독 빌라도와 유대인 대제사장 중에서 누가 더 악했는가를 보면, 오히려 하나님을 믿는다고 하는 유대 종교지도자가 더 나쁜게 행동했습니다.
1. When trying to see who was more evil between the Roman governor Pilate and the Jewish high priest, the Jewish religious leader who said he believed in God was more wicked.

이방인이요 하나님을 믿지 않는 빌라도는 오히려 주님을 무죄 석방하려고 시도했고, 주님께 변호할 기회를 주려고 애를 썼습니다.
Pilate, who was a Gentile and did not believe in God, attempted to acquit Jesus, and he tried to give Him a chance to defend himself.

하지만 유대인들은 죄없는 예수님을 십자가형으로 죽이려고 했고, 포악한 범죄자 바라바보다도 오히려 더 나쁘게 취급했던 것입니다.
However, the Jews tried to kill Jesus who was innocent by crucifixion and considered Him even worse than the heinous criminal Barabbas.

-종교를 가진 사람들이 하나님의 사랑으로 충만하지 못하면, 오히려 세상의 비신자보다 더 괴퍅하고 독선적인 사람으로 전락할 수 있다는 것을 보여줍니다.
-This shows that if religious people are not filled with God's love, they can decline into more bitter and self-righteous people than the non-believers in this world.

2. 이와 같이 불공평하고 억울한 대우를 받으셨을 때, 주님께서는 대항하거나 구차하게 변명하려고 애쓰지 않으시고 그저 침묵하셨습니다.
2. When Jesus was treated unfairly like this, He did not try to fight back or make lame excuses, but He simply remained silent.

사실 잘잘못을 따진다고 해서 알아들을만한 사람들이 아니었고, 진실을 밝혀서 억울함을 푼다고 하는 것도 별 의미가 없었기 때문입니다.
This was because the Jews were not people who wanted to understand His reasoning, and there was not much meaning in trying to prove His innocence by pointing out all the wrong accusations.

또 이런 주님의 온유한 반응은 예언의 성취이기도 합니다.
(이사야서 53:7) 그는 굴욕을 당하고 고문을 당하였으나, 아무 말도 하지 않았다. 마치 도살장으로 끌려가는 어린 양처럼, 마치 털 깎는 사람 앞에서 잠잠한 암양처럼, 끌려가기만 할 뿐, 아무 말도 하지 않았다.
Moreover, Jesus fulfills the prophecy with His gentle response.
(Isaiah 53:7) He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter,
and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth.

1. 억울한 말을 들어도 대항하지 말고 온유함으로 반응하게 하옵소서!
2. 특히 화가 날 때, 잠시 침묵하는 시간을 가지고 평안을 회복했을 때 대화하는 지혜와 인내를 주옵소서!
3. 크리스천이 세상 사람보다 객관적으로 성숙한 인격과 도덕성을 갖게 하옵소서!
1. Even if people are saying unfair and incorrect things about us, please let us not fight back, but help us respond with gentleness!
2. Especially when we are angry, please give us the wisdom and patience to take a moment of silence and resume talking when peace in our hearts is restored!
3. Help Christians be more mature and moral than the people of this world!
